How do I submit a Manuscript?
To submit a manuscript download and fill out the Book Proposal Form and mail or email it to:

Is there a cost to publish my book?
There is no cost to submit a manuscript or publish with Sound Wisdom as we are not a self-publisher. However, for authors without a significant platform we often require an initial book purchase from the author to help successfully launch the book.
I’m living outside the United States, will you be interested in publishing my manuscript?
Sound Wisdom publishes very few books for authors located outside the United States or do not have a significant speaking market inside the US. You can still submit your manuscript to us using the form above.
How long will it take to get a response after I submit my manuscript?
On average it takes 4 to 8 weeks to review manuscripts and make a decision. However, due to the large number of manuscripts received it can sometimes take longer.
What types of books does Sound Wisdom publish?
Sound Wisdom publishes a lot of Self-Help, Motivational and Business books. We do not publish poetry and rarely publish children’s books.
What format should I submit my manuscript in?
The best form to submit your manuscript is in a .doc format digitally by email. If you would like to submit a hard copy of anything you can mail it to:

We may re-release your book if you have developed a significant market or demand locally and are looking to increase that to the national level.
